Terms and Conditions of Service
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings and transport services provided by Port Douglas Transport. Please read them carefully before you confirm your booking.
Pricing
All prices for our services include relevant Airport access fees applicable to the transfer.
Child seats
Baby seats, capsules, and child booster seats are provided. However, you must specify your requirements at the time of booking.
Early arrival
If you arrive before your scheduled pick-up time, we may not be able to meet you due to prior booked jobs. In such cases, please contact us to arrange a suitable meeting point at your original pick-up time.
Flight delays
If your flight is delayed please send us a text message or call. We do understand it's out of your control.
Wait time period
Once the wait time period has passed, we will attempt to contact you using the provided contact number. If we can reach you and you inform us that you no longer require the vehicle, full charges will apply.
If you request us to wait, an additional fee of $20 per 15 minutes of extra waiting time will be charged and payable to the driver (please note that extra wait time may not always be possible due to the driver's schedule). If, after the agreed wait time extension, we still have not collected you, the driver will contact you again and inform you that they must leave, and full cancellation charges, including the extra wait time fee, will apply.
If we are unable to contact you, the driver will be advised to move on at the end of the wait time period, and full cancellation charges will apply.
For airport/cruise terminal pick-ups, the wait time period starts either at the flight/cruise arrival time or at the scheduled time of booking if no flight/cruise number information has been provided. We strongly recommend providing flight/cruise information so that we can track your arrival time in case of early or late arrival.
Additional stops
The rates quoted are for direct trips. Any additional stops along the way must be pre-arranged at the time of reservation, as additional waiting time will be charged at a rate of $30 per 15 minutes.
Cancellations & refunds
All cancellation requests MUST be in writing (email or text message).
No-show policy
If the customer fails to meet at the pick-up location and time, misses their flight, or chooses alternative transport without prior contact, it will be considered a no-show. No refund or credit is permitted in such cases. The customer may make a new booking, subject to availability.
Vehicle rules
No food or drink is allowed in the vehicle, except for water in a sealable bottle. If the vehicle requires detailed cleaning due to spills, food, or sickness, resulting in the vehicle being soiled and unusable for a period of time, a cleaning fee of $120 will be charged.
